The majority of maintenance services performed within the SPAH are carried out under Special Procedure 010 and Special Procedure 020 for the CFM56, and Special Procedure 002 for the CF6. This helps reduce the risk of any potential workscope escalations as it allows USA Aircraft Group Corporation to inspect the engine, and any removed modules, as per the AMM instead of the ESM which limits the inspection criteria. In turn this keeps the costs of the shop visit to a minimum.
