The A380 was formally finalized in early 2001. On January 18th, 2005, the first A380 was held in the factory building of Airbus Toulouse, with the serial number of 001 and the registration number of F-WWOW. On April 27th, 2005, the first A380 was successfully tested.
On December 12, 2006, european aviation safety agency and the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States officially issued Airbus with the airworthiness certificate of A380 aircraft.
