Memories of a generation of travelers-USA Aircraft Group Corporation

Date: 2025/1/2

At present, the world's largest passenger plane with the highest passenger capacity is Airbus A380, referred to as Airbus A380 for short. Eighteen years ago today, January 18th, 2005, the first A380 passenger plane was delivered at Toulouse factory on January 18th, 2005. On October 25th, 2007, Airbus A380 was officially put into operation. A total of 251 Airbus A380s were produced. On December 16th, 2021, the last Airbus A380s were delivered to Emirates Airlines.
Airbus A380 is a real double-decker passenger plane, with a double-decker cabin from beginning to end. It can carry up to 556 passengers in the third-class cabin layout and 856 passengers in the single economy class layout, making it a "big MAC in the air" in civil aviation. In 2011, China Southern Airlines Group Co., Ltd. successively introduced five Airbus A380, the registration numbers of which were B-6136, B-6137, B-6138, B-6139 and B-6140. However, with the increasing number of point-to-point direct flights on international routes, Airbus A380' s advantages of large passenger capacity and being suitable for hub transit are gradually weakening, and its high fuel consumption also brings some losses. On December 21, 2022, the last two Airbus A380 planes were transferred and left Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, officially retiring.

Airbus A380 has brought a wonderful ride experience to tourists from all over the world, and its beautiful shadow once appeared on commemorative coins.
