Date: 2024/12/18

According to the report of Flight International on October 9th, Airbus recently announced the order for 85 aircraft, including 10 A350 and 75 A320neo series jets. Airbus did not disclose the customer's identity. At present, it can be confirmed that this order was signed in early September, which contributed to the increase of Airbus's performance in September. In that month, Airbus received a total of 235 aircraft orders. According to the report, the aircraft leasing company CDB Aviation had previously ordered 80 Airbus single-aisle aircraft, and the Philippine cebu pacific air also ordered 70 Airbus aircraft. In the first three quarters of 2024, Airbus received a total of 648 net orders and delivered 497 aircraft.

In addition, according to Reuters news, the delivery volume of Airbus aircraft in September decreased by 9% compared with the same period of last year, to 50 aircraft. In the same period, the new demand for more than 200 aircraft was received, making the total number of aircraft delivered by Airbus from 2024 to now reach 497, an increase of 2% compared with 488 in the same period last year. Airbus said that because the supply chain of the aerospace industry has not recovered from the epidemic, resulting in a shortage of engines and other parts, the company lowered its annual delivery target from 800 to 770 in July. Airbus said that it is expected to achieve the annual target of about 770 aircraft.
