Wide-body aircraft-USA Aircraft Group Corporation

Date: 2024/11/28

The first wide-body aircraft was Boeing 747, which was published in 1969. After that, three-engine wide-body aircraft such as DC-10 and L-1011 came out one after another. Airbus, one of Boeing's main competitors, published the first dual-engine wide-body aircraft A300 in 1974. Due to the high oil price, in order to reduce operating costs, airlines have gradually changed to operate wide-body aircraft with dual engines, except for the larger Boeing 747-8 and A380.
