According to reports, "Super Moby Dick" is a super transport plane of Airbus International Transportation Company, with only six in the world. Because of its unique shape similar to cetaceans, it got the nickname.
It is reported that the cargo plane model is Airbus A330-743L, which is 63m long and 8m wide. The fuselage is 6m long and 1m wide than its predecessor Airbus Moby Dick (A300-600ST), and the extra transport capacity is increased by 30%. It has the largest cargo compartment cross section in the world, and can carry two wings of Airbus A350 and the giant tail of Airbus A380, and even accommodate the Airbus A330.
According to the relevant person in charge of Tianjin Binhai Airport, since the Airbus Tianjin assembly line was put into production, Tianjin Binhai Airport has guaranteed the delivery of 780 Airbus aircraft and nearly 1,900 flight tests. In order to ensure the smooth operation of Airbus "Super Moby Dick" in Tianjin, Tianjin Binhai Airport Logistics Company has customized personalized support services for flight guidance, the use of special vehicles, the provision of self-sliding seats, the provision of general services and the use of mops. Tianjin Airport Border Inspection Station set up a customs clearance support team to draw lessons from the station's experience in ensuring Airbus aircraft entry and exit inspection and customs clearance facilitation measures, and formulate inspection and release projects.
