List of civil aviation aircraft models-USA Aircraft Group Corporation

Date: 2024/10/31

Among the world's civil aviation aircraft, some "old aircraft" have a high accident rate, including Boeing 737-JT8D aircraft, Russian-made Il -76 aircraft, Russian Cartographic -154 aircraft, Airbus A310 aircraft and McDonnell Douglas DC-9 aircraft.
Among these aircraft, the interval between fatal accidents of Boeing 737-JT8D (the total time for a certain aircraft to fly safely) is only 507,000 hours, which is called the most dangerous aircraft in the world. The interval between fatal accidents of the above-mentioned other dangerous aircraft does not exceed 1.1 million hours.
While publishing the ranking of well-known aircraft, the magazine also published the ranking of global safe aircraft, and Boeing 777 aircraft ranked first in the ranking with its excellent performance of 19 million hours without fatal accidents. In addition, Airbus A340, Airbus A330, Boeing 737NG, Boeing 767 and Airbus A320, which passengers often encounter when traveling, also appear on the list of the safest models.
Some civil aviation experts in Shanghai said that the interval between fatal accidents is indeed an important indicator of whether an aircraft's safety performance is excellent or not, but this is only an overall description of an aircraft. Specific to each aircraft, it depends on its service life, maintenance level and average utilization rate. Therefore, for this ranking, passengers don't have to take it too seriously, just take it as a reference. What's more, the old-fashioned plane like Boeing 737-JT8D has long since "retired" from the domestic aviation market, so the public can fly with confidence. According to the Evening News

This aircraft was manufactured in large quantities from 1967 to 1988. At present, 517 aircraft are still in service, only in some economically backward countries. The latest accident was an air crash in Kyrgyzstan last year, in which 68 people died.
Since it came out in 1974, it is still being manufactured. There are currently 247 aircraft in use. This aircraft was mainly used in the former Soviet Union, the Middle East and Africa. In 2003, an Il -76 crashed in Iran, killing 275 people.
This plane was invented in 1971 and is still being manufactured today. At present, the number of aircraft in service is 336, which is called the handsome man in the air. On 15th of this month, an Iranian Tu -154 plane crashed, killing 168 people. This is the fourth Tu -154 plane that crashed in Iran since 2002.
Some economically backward countries are still using this plane. The manufacturing time of this aircraft lasted from 1983 to 1998.

There are 191 fighters still in service today. In June this year, an A310 from Yemen crashed into the Indian Ocean with 153 people on board.

It came out in 1965 and stopped production in 1982. At present, there are still 315 aircraft in service. In 2008, a McDonnell Douglas DC-9 crashed in the Democratic Republic of Congo, killing at least 44 people.

It came out in 1964 and stopped production in 1986. At present, there are still 223 aircraft in service. This aircraft was widely used in the former Soviet Union, but because the engine noise was too loud, it did not meet the European noise restrictions, and now it only flies to domestic routes in Russia. In 2004, a Russian Tu -134 plane crashed, killing 43 people.

Although it has been discontinued, this aircraft is still widely used outside the United States. In Christmas 2003, a Boeing -727 crashed in Benin, an African country, killing 151 people.

It was produced in 1980 and stopped production in 1999. At present, 923 aircraft are in service. McDonnell Douglas MD-80 is an updated product of McDonnell Douglas DC-9, which is still used by American airlines and some European airlines. In January 2000, an American McDonnell Douglas MD-80 crashed in the Pacific Ocean. In August 2008, a McDonnell Douglas MD-80 with 153 people on board crashed in Spain, killing all the people.

This plane was originally made for the purpose of saving fuel, but it was finally rated as a failure. In 1999, a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 in China bumped and caught fire in a typhoon, killing three passengers and finally landing in Hongkong.
